4. Contests, Sweepstakes, and Promotions

Any contests, sweepstakes, or other promotions (collectively, “Promotions”) made available through the Service may be governed by rules that are separate from these Terms of Service. If you participate in any Promotions, please review the applicable rules as well as our Privacy Policy. If the rules for a Promotion conflict with these Terms of Service, Promotion rules will apply.

5. Refunds

We issue refunds for Contracts within 3 days of the original purchase of the Contract.

Forensicspedia maintains a strict No Refund Policy for all purchases, including but not limited to:

  • Online and offline courses
  • Certification programs
  • Subscription services
  • Educational resources and materials

Refunds will only be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:

  • Double Payment: If a payment has been accidentally processed twice for the same purchase.
  • Inaccurate Payment: If there is a verified error in the payment amount.
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If a purchase is proven to be made without the consent of the account or cardholder (e.g., fraud or identity theft). Documentation, such as a claim from the payment provider, may be required for verification.
  • Technical Errors: If a technical issue on Forensicspedia’s platform (e.g., a server glitch or processing error) results in an incorrect charge.
  • Non-Delivery of Service or Product: If a product or service cannot be delivered due to an issue on Forensicspedia’s end (e.g., course access failure or missing materials).
  • Duplicate Purchases: If the same course, service, or product is purchased multiple times unintentionally, refunds may be granted for the extra charges upon verification.
  • Significant Misrepresentation: If a service or product is found to be significantly different from the description provided due to an error on Forensicspedia’s part, refunds may be considered.

  2. Provide proof of purchase and relevant documentation, such as payment receipts, transaction IDs, or other evidence to support your claim.
  3. Refund requests will be reviewed thoroughly. Upon approval, the refund will be processed within 5 working days.

6. Content

Content found on or through this Service is the property of Forensicspedia or used with permission. You may not distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, download, repost, copy, or use said Content, whether in whole or in part, for commercial purposes or for personal gain, without express advance written permission from us.

7. Content Guidelines

To maintain a safe and respectful environment on Forensicspedia, all users must adhere to the following content guidelines:

  1. Respectful Communication: Users must engage respectfully and professionally. Harassment, hate speech, and discriminatory remarks are strictly prohibited.

Moreover, we invite professors to create online MOOC courses for the students. These courses are paid, and we give 30% of our revenue to the professor who created them. We reserve the right to reject, remove, or alter the content at any time. Additionally, we can change the commission rates as necessary. We are transparent about the course enrollments and provide the student list to the professor. However, due to technical issues, payouts can sometimes be late or mismanaged. In such cases, the professor should email us at [email protected] so we can address and resolve the issue.

8. Prohibited Uses

You may use Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with Terms. You agree not to use Service:

  • In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation.
  • For the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way by exposing them to inappropriate content or otherwise.
  • To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including any “junk mail”, “chain letter,” “spam,” or any other similar solicitation.
  • To impersonate or attempt to impersonate Company, a Company employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
  • In any way that infringes upon the rights of others, or in any way is illegal, threatening, fraudulent, or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purpose or activity.
  • To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm or offend Company or users of Service or expose them to liability.
Additionally, you agree not to:
  • Use Service in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage, or impair Service or interfere with any other party’s use of Service, including their ability to engage in real-time activities through Service.
  • Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access Service for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on Service.
  • Use any manual process to monitor or copy any of the material on Service or for any other unauthorized purpose without our prior written consent.
  • Use any device, software, or routine that interferes with the proper working of Service.

18. Guidelines for MOOC Courses

Forensicspedia offers a platform for professors to create and offer online MOOC (Massive Open Online Courses) for students. These courses are paid, and the following terms and conditions apply to the creation, management, and distribution of MOOC content:

18.1. Revenue Sharing

- Professors who create and offer courses will receive 30% of the revenue generated from their courses. This percentage may be adjusted at Forensicspedia's discretion with prior notice to the professors.

18.2. Content Submission and Approval

- Professors must submit their course content for review and approval by Forensicspedia.
- Forensicspedia reserves the right to reject any content that does not meet our quality standards, educational value, or aligns with our platform's objectives.
- Content that is found to be plagiarized, inappropriate, or in violation of any laws or our terms will be rejected or removed.

18.3. Content Modification

- Forensicspedia reserves the right to modify, alter, or edit the submitted content for clarity, accuracy, and quality enhancement.
- Any significant changes to the content will be communicated to the professor, and collaborative revisions can be made.

18.4. Content Removal

- Forensicspedia reserves the right to remove any content at any time without prior notice if it is found to be in violation of our guidelines, terms, or any applicable laws.
- Professors will be notified of the removal and the reasons for it.

18.5. Commission Rates

- The commission rates for professors are subject to change at Forensicspedia's discretion. Professors will be notified in advance of any changes in the commission structure.
- Any changes in commission rates will apply to future enrollments and not to those already made.

18.6. Enrollment Transparency

- Forensicspedia provides transparency regarding the list of students enrolled in each course to the respective professors.
- Professors can access enrollment data through their account dashboard or upon request.

18.7. Payouts and Financial Discrepancies

- Payouts to professors will be processed on a monthly basis.
- Due to technical issues or administrative errors, payouts may be delayed or mismanaged.
- In case of any discrepancies or delays in payouts, professors are required to send an email to [email protected] to report the issue.
- Forensicspedia will address and resolve payout issues as promptly as possible.

18.8. Content Ownership and Licensing

- Professors retain ownership of their original course content.
- By submitting content to Forensicspedia, professors grant Forensicspedia a non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, distribute, reproduce, modify, and display the content for educational and promotional purposes.

18.9. Quality Assurance

- Professors are expected to maintain high-quality standards in their course content, including accurate information, clear presentation, and engaging materials.
- Forensicspedia may conduct periodic reviews of course content to ensure ongoing quality and relevance.

18.10. Updates and Revisions

- Professors are encouraged to update and revise their course content periodically to ensure it remains current and accurate.
- Significant updates or revisions should be submitted for review and approval by Forensicspedia.

18.11. Code of Conduct

- Professors must adhere to a professional code of conduct, including respectful and ethical behavior towards students and Forensicspedia staff.
- Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the professor's account and removal of their content from the platform.

18.12. Dispute Resolution

- Any disputes arising between professors and Forensicspedia regarding course content, payouts, or other matters will be resolved through good faith negotiations.
- If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be subject to the governing law and jurisdiction as outlined in these terms.

19. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of Terms.
If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using Service.
All provisions of Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

20. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India, which governing law applies to agreement without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect. All students participating in the Forensicspedia online internship program will be eligible to receive an e-certificate upon successful completion. It is understood that Forensicspedia reserves the right to make changes to the internship program, including but not limited to altering the date, syllabus, content, and timing, as deemed necessary by the organization without prior notice to participants.

25. Acknowledgement

BY USING SERVICE OR OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED BY US, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THEM.
